In alignment with the Sudan Medical Specialization Board’s expansion polices with regards to infrastructure, training centers and the establishment of council’s branches in various states around Sudan, a critical need arose to create a number of specialization boards for new specialties. In addition, a need emerged to train and qualify the allied health professionals. These needs combined have led to the creation of a secretary for the specialization boards, responsible of the curricula development for the new specialties. The specialization board’s affairs coordination department was developed in order to provide the boards with all the support they need, as well as the requirement needed for conducting activities and connecting these boards to the council’s administration.
