Scientific affairs secretary:

This secretary is concerned with the scientific and academic activities related to trainees and trainers within the council. It is responsible for the formulation, update and application of academic regulations and programs. It is also regarded as an advisory and coordinating party for the specialization boards.

The secretary also works to increase the training capacity through adopting new training centers. It ensures the availability of a productive scientific and teaching environment. It also provides all requirements needed by the trainees to complete their clinical training and field work with high standards, on proper medical education grounds and under the supervision of certified instructors.

The training program includes a number of examinations; the admission, first part and second part examinations. The secretary coordinates and holds these exams periodically in order to evaluates candidates so as to ensure their eligibility for obtaining the Medical Doctorate certificate at the end of their training program.

Is responsible of the organization, revision and printing of the specialization board’s exams (selection, first part, second part and evaluation exams). It also monitors and provides all examination needs.

This unit is concerned with certificate issuing after careful review and verification (general, cardboard, details, first and second part certificates). It also confirms the validity of certificates sent from international institutes such as the data flow.
